     Shimano. Shimano has come a long way in a very short time. They now dominate the bicycle component field. They have been the forces behind major changes in the bikes from Index to STI. Some of the biggest improvements have come because of Shimano's push for change and improvements. They have forced other bicycle component makers to follow or drop out all together. A lot could not keep up but what has come of it is some of the most innovated sophisticated parts ever to hang on a bike frame. Parts are lighter and work better then we ever dreamed possible. I may like to look at the old parts on my old racing bikes but I will always grab the newer bikes to hit the road with.
      How we sell Shimano now has change since the old days when we would sell it as a group. We would get call all the time as to the price of a Dura Ace or Ultegra group then ask the labor to install it and the customer would decide who they would buy it from. We still do groups but we sell a lot more "kits" now or even part group and a build kit. This is easier for me and lets me offer better prices to you but it is harder to figure out better value for you. You now need to know a lot of different prices with all the other parts available out there. I will list group prices and kit prices. I will list the build kits with every part available with it. Any part can be pulled or change giving a different price with an almost endless possibility.
     I know it is a little more work on your part but you look up the price of the frame then look at the price of the kit and the labor is free if you buy the frame and kit from us. Remember the prices will change to me with out notice so I reserve to do the same.

All the groups come with these 8 pieces.

5. Shifters/brake levers.
6. Chain.
7. Cassette.
8. Brakes.

All these kits come with everything except frame, fork and pedals.
