     Over the years The Bike Stand has acquired lots of new and used parts. These have started to become quite collectable. Who would have ever guessed that. Shipping on all items is what we pay for shipping no handling charge ever. Most of all the items will go by Fedex and go with insurance for about 7.00. I am starting to put up more used parts because I am just about finished with the restoration of three full Campy bikes and my friend Matt just bought a huge pile of old Campagnolo and other vintage parts. I try my best to give real descriptions of the parts but please ask very detailed Questions by email if you need more or better information. I can even get more pictures on some items but please not on some small 10.00 type items. So just ask away with any questions about what we have in stock or condition of the parts.       A few things on vintage parts before you go on. First all the parts are kept in plastic zip lock bags and they are all housed in large rubber made bins in the basement of the shop so if you call me up and ask about a part, I will have to go down in the basement find the rubber made bin marked with that type of part you are asking about. Go through all the different parts to find the one you are asking about bring it up to tell you more about the part. So because the shop needs regular retail sales to keep open I can not do it that way please you need to email me all the questions and save the calls for when you want to pay for it. Second thing is this vintage stuff is very fun for me but trust me it is not profitable in any way. The amount of time I have to put into every part I list is so much that it would be better just to sell it off as a lode and go spend more time on the new stuff. Think about it each and ever part that is listed here has to be photographed described and talked about again and again. I get calls asking me to take apart some derailleur to look at the spring to tell them the condition of it. New parts one photograph and one description for one part and I can sell ten of the same with out ever looking in the box. With this vintage stuff I love it and will still play with it but at a cost to making money and paying rent so please try and use your emails to keep the time away from working down for me.

Complete Bikes.

  1. Used-Austro Daimlar Vent Noir II in smoke chrome 62 cm center to center seat tube with a 59 cm top tube. All Campagnolo Grand Sport parts except the brakes are Nuovo Record with the hard to find three arm crank. This is how I got it and it fits me well. I will be restoring it as the time goes by and the price will climb as I go. What I like most about this AD is the head tube angle. It is much better then most other big frames out there, they did not steepen up the head tube, so it rides very well. Priced at a low 499.99.pictures
  2. NOS-Gios Torino 53cm center to center white leather stitched bars fluted cranks non dated rear derailleur I think 1988 never road and never even glued on the tires. 2499.99.pictures
  3. Used-Locomotief This is one old 21 1/2" 26x1 3/8" wheel center to top woman's bike. Full chain cover rod action Sturmy Archer drum brakes laced to alloy rims. It has the built in rear lock with key and generator set. It is in very good shape but it is not restored yet but should be. Priced at a low 299.99.pictures
  4. Used-Redcay a true custom bike from a New Jersey boy done good. Full early Shimano Dura Ace group on a 51cm center to center with a 52 cm top tube almost new bike. Took second place at 1998 Lars Anderson show dark gray. Priced at a low 999.99.pictures
  5. Used-Schwinn JR Sting Ray. This was left at my door the other day by my friend Dan and he nor I really know these Schwinn bikes very well. Ray says the fork is not original The seat looks good as does the grips. I do not think the sissy bar was ever that tall from Schwinn but I do not know. I will be a fun project bike for some one and if it does not sell that may be me. Anyway as is and have fun with this cheep StingRay at only 299.99.pictures
  6. Used-Univega Ital Sport bright red in a 58 center to center and a 57 cm top tube. It appears to have low miles with a Campagnolo Victory group with no pedals. The rims are Araya hard anodized clinchers 700 c but I would replace the tires. SR (Sakae) bar, stem and seatpost. Needs some cleaning and I would repack all the bearings, but those Campy gum hoods are great just one little part is notched out. Priced at a low 299.99. pictures

Road Frames.

  1. Used-Alpine The current owner has had this late 70's frame for 25 years, when he bought it used from the original owner and has never crashed it or raced it. In 2002 he had Tom Kellogg dip/strip the frame and paint it with DuPont Imron in Seminole Indian Metallic Red, he then replace all decals with new originals, and then spray it with a protective clear coat.. It is British threaded 60 cm center to center with a 57 cm top tube. Reynolds 531 DB frame and fork with Campagnolo vertical drop outs. The owner is sweetening the deal by tossing in three top tube guides by Huret, a Campagnolo bb cable guide, Shimano 105 headset, an American classic seat post, and a set of home made clamp on stops to use modern brake shifter combination or use bar end shifters. The bike is in great shape never raced or crashed. Just a few small chips and scratches as any bike that gets ridden will have. The spacing is 100 mm front and 130 mm re spaced from 126 mm.   2. Used-Assenmacher tandem 65.5 front center to top and 50 rear center to top. 60 front top tube 61 rear top tube. Stand over on the front is about 34 inches and 24 inches on the rear but that is of course at the lowest part of the woman style frame. With Phil Wood hubs front and rear and the stroker stem painted to match the frame. The customer got a custom Landshark made and put this up for others to enjoy.   9. Used-Gitane Professional Tour De France dirty faded green paint 62 cm center to center with a 58 cm top tube. Beat green paint and decals with all chrome fork (I do not think is original) and some chrome on the stays. I think a Stronglight headset that looks nice. The chrome Simplex rear drop outs are spaced at 120 mm rear and the Campagnolo fronts are 100 mm. It is straight and mostly rust free as is the bb. It takes nut style brakes and a 26.6 seat post.   10. Used-Jaekel very cool hard to find woman’s Columbus tubing British threaded 126 mm rear and 100 mm front bike frame. This pink 53 cm center to top with a 54 cm top tube has forged what looks to be GPM drop outs and nice chrome right chain stay. It has a brazed on chain stay stop, Campy shifter bosses, top tub guides and chain hanger my measuring shows it to be a 26.8 seatpost size. It will need 700C wheels with Allen bolt brakes with about 47 mm reach. I will even toss in the Shimano 600 alloy headset all for only 199.99 pictures
  11. Used-Major Nichols with beautiful outlined Nervex lugs 59 cm center to center with a 57 cm top tube. Brand new green paint and decals with white panels and a new chrome Tange Leven headset. The chrome drop outs are spaced at 120 mm rear and 100 mm front with a number code of M81 on the one side. It is straight and rust free. It takes nut style brakes and a 26.6 seat post. Still only 499.99 which does not even cover the paint. I am listing this for a friend that just paid for all this paint and decals because he was unhappy with the quality of the decals. That is fine by me because it fits me and when he forgets that it is here I will build it up for me. pictures
